RendezView uses one cookie. It exists so that you stay logged in. We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking.
The cookie we set

It is set only after you sign up or log in, is marked HttpOnly so it cannot be read by scripts in your browser, and is sent only over HTTPS. It contains a random value that identifies your session — not your name, email, or any other personal detail — and logging out invalidates it on our servers as well as removing it from your browser.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — analytics and advertising cookies, for example. Cookies that are essential to deliver a service the user has asked for are exempt.
Our only cookie keeps you logged in, which is strictly necessary for an account-based service, so no consent banner is required. If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before setting it and update this page.
What we do not use
- No analytics or measurement cookies
- No advertising, retargeting or social media pixels
- No embedded third-party content that sets cookies on our pages
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking our session cookie will stop you being able to stay logged in, so the account area will not work.
